Marissa and Joss’ black tie wedding at Waveny Park was an unforgettable night filled with music, love, and a few unexpected twists!

We’ve done quite a few weddings at the stunning Waveny House so we knew the venue well, as previously written about here. This time, we were providing audio equipment for the vows since Marissa and Joss had a quartet lined up for their ceremony.

On the big day, just as pre-ceremony photos were wrapping up, the skies decided to open up. Rain wasn’t in the plan, but no worries—we quickly moved the ceremony to the venue’s covered porch. Problem solved!

After the “I dos,” guests mingled during the outdoor cocktail hour, where they got a delightful surprise: a live mariachi band! The band set the perfect festive mood, leading everyone to the reception room. Marissa and Joss made their grand entrance and went straight into their first dance to Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon.” Classic!

Dinner and toasts followed, and once the skies cleared, everyone headed out to the patio. Marissa shared a sweet dance with her dad to Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind,” and Joss danced with his mom to “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon and Garfunkel. Cue the tears!

Then, the real party started. The dance floor was packed, thanks to our signature saxophone and DJ combo. McGarill and I kept the energy high, jamming right in the middle of the guests.

The night wrapped up with a sparkler send-off and a private last dance for Marissa and Joss before they drove off in a Rolls-Royce. Their Waveny Park wedding wasn’t just an elegant black tie affair; it was a dance party that everyone will remember for years to come.
