Had an absolute blast spinning tracks for Michaela and Ryan’s outdoor wedding, with tented reception in Wakefield, New Hampshire. We mixed classic hits with modern favorites and rocked so hard that we went overtime for a last-minute afterparty with the lights off!
The ceremony began late afternoon with instrumental versions of “Simply the Best” for the processional and “Thinking Out Loud” for Michaela’s entrance. After the “I dos” and kiss, they danced out to Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown”.
It took all of cocktail hour to take our jaws off the floor with how crazy the views were! We began the tented reception with “Get Ready” by 2 Unlimited as the “Something Blue Crew” made their entrance. Quickly in tow our stars made their entrance to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” straight into their first dance: Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.” Halfway through, we invited guests to join them on the dance floor for a mini dance set before dinner.
They needed NO cajoling to turn up the heat – even the kids were getting in on the action! We had so much fun that we decided to go for another hour of overtime to get a little raunchy with it, turning the lights down for an impromptu afterparty!
